Art teachers share their own work
Over the Easter bank holiday weekend five present and past Glossopdale
School art teachers will be displaying their work at the
‘Wall in the Barn’.
Current Head of Art at the school, Lucy Wood, will be joined by Alice Greenwood, Hannah Mottram, Michael Moore and former teacher Gwen Osbaldeston. The exhibition is entitled ‘Local’ to reflect the fact that all the teachers live and work in this area plus it will include many pieces depicting local scenes.
Original paintings, drawing and etching will be available to view and purchase. The exhibition will be open from Friday 15th to Monday 18th April, 11am to 4pm with free entry.
Children's activity
Downstairs in the Barn there will also be an activity for children to enjoy. They will be invited to draw their favourite teacher. All the work will be put on display and entered into a prize draw.
