Hadfield Children's Art Exhibition 2020 - Gallery

Welcome to our virtual art exhbition which was judged by Julie Hesmondhalgh. Here's what she had to say about our exhibition...

"This is one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had to do! Congratulations to everyone who took part. What a treat to see so much talent, it was genuinely very difficult to whittle it down to a shortlist of 5 in each age category, let alone choose an overall winner!
I was very interesting in the different styles you all used, and loved the pictures that had depth and texture. But I was also looking out for pictures that had meaning for the artist, in particular those that reflected in some way this extraordinary time we’re living through at the moment. Art from the heart is art that I like best generally, so that influenced my choices a bit too, as well as how beautifully drawn, made or painted a picture was"
I'm very excited to share with you a video showcasing the shortlisted entries to our Hadfield Children's Virtual Art Show 2020 and revealing the winners in each category, including the People's Choice prize, recorded at Wall in the Barn
